How does KC's visa processing process work?
- 1
Visa requirements per country
Each destination has its own visa workflow: Australia Subclass 500 (GTE + financial), UK Student Route (CAS + IHS), USA F-1 (I-20 + SEVIS + interview), Canada Study Permit (LoA + PAL + GIC + open work-rights), Ireland D Visa (LoA + funds), Germany Type D (Sperrkonto + APS), etc. KC matches your applications to the right workflow.
- 2
Document collection + financial proofs
Bank statements (3-6 months typically), FDs, education-loan sanction letters, sponsor affidavits, income-tax returns. Each country has specific format + maintenance-period requirements (UKVI: 28 consecutive days; US: cumulative; Australia: GTE statement context).
- 3
Application submission
Online forms filled (we sit with you for the final submission to avoid errors), supporting documents uploaded, visa-application fees paid. Appointment booked at the VFS / consulate. Biometric submission scheduled.
- 4
Interview prep + tracking
Countries with visa interviews (USA, Germany, Australia in some cases) get mock interview rounds with our team. We track application status until visa is issued — and assist with any RFE (Request for Evidence) responses if they arise.
Who is this for?
Anyone applying for a student visa — KC's visa processing is included by default in our full-counselling package. Also available as a standalone service for students who used a different consultant for university applications but want visa-specific expertise (or whose previous consultant got the visa rejected).
Why are visa rejection rates so different across countries?
Each country's consulate reads applications differently. USA F-1 historically has 30%+ refusal rates for Indian applicants — driven by 'intent to return' assessments at consular interviews. UK Student Route is more document-driven (CAS + funds → typically issued). Canada has been tightening since 2024 reforms. Australia's Subclass 500 GTE assessment can refuse seemingly-strong applications. Knowing each country's specific friction points materially helps the application.
What's the financial-demonstration math?
Each country specifies a minimum threshold: UK ~GBP 12,006 for London / GBP 9,207 elsewhere (per 9 months, held 28 consecutive days). US: tuition + living costs (variable) demonstrated; no specific minimum but consulate looks for sufficiency. Canada: tuition + CAD 20,635 GIC. Australia: AUD 24,505 plus tuition. Germany: ~EUR 11,904 blocked. Ireland: EUR 10,000 + tuition paid.
Should I tell the truth about my intent to immigrate?
F-1 (USA) specifically requires demonstrating 'non-immigrant intent' (intent to return after studies). Lying compounds problems. The honest framing: 'I plan to gain skills and return to India after my studies, but if a great opportunity arises during OPT I would explore it'. Other countries don't have this requirement — Canada / UK / Australia explicitly support pathways to PR.
Visa Processing — frequently asked questions
No — visa decisions are made by consular officers, not consultants. KC's role is to maximise your probability by ensuring documentation is complete, financial demonstration is strong, and your story is consistent. Refusals do happen even with perfect applications.
Varies by country: UK ~GBP 524 + IHS GBP 776/year. USA F-1 ~USD 535 (SEVIS + MRV). Canada CAD 150 + biometrics. Australia AUD 1,600. Ireland EUR 60. Germany EUR 75. Fees are paid by you directly; KC's service fee is separate.
Most countries allow reapplication. We analyze the refusal reason (typically specified in writing), strengthen the application's weak points, and resubmit. Some countries (Australia, UK) allow administrative review of refusals as an alternative to reapplying. KC walks you through the right path per refusal type.
Yes for countries that allow dependants (US F-2, UK Student Dependant for PhD only, Canada SOWP for masters / PhD only, Australia Subclass 500 dependants). KC handles primary + dependant visa applications as a combined workflow.
Most countries: as soon as you have your university's admission letter + financial documents ready, typically 3-4 months before intake. Application windows: UK ~6 months before; US ~120 days before I-20 start date; Canada whenever LoA + GIC ready; Australia early because GTE assessment can take time.
